The Vorkady Church dedicated to Sacred Heart of Jesus is situated 30 KMs south of Mangalore. It is in the civil District of Kasaragod in Kerala state. It is part of Kasaragod Deanery belonging to the Latin Diocese of Mangalore. The deanery dedicated to St Thomas has 13 parishes from Talapady-Mariashram to Kasaragod. The number of Catholics in the parish is nearly 2000 in 398 families of 14 wards.
