Catechism Day Celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady

Vorkady, February 23, 2025: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady, joyfully celebrated Catechism Day with a solemn Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Fr. Santhosh Dsouza. During the announcements, Parish Priest Fr. Basil Vas extended his best wishes to all.

Following the Holy Mass, a formal gathering was held in the church hall. Rev. Fr. Basil Vas delivered an inspiring message, encouraging catechism children to live out the teachings of catechism, drawing inspiration from saints like Mother Teresa and Don Bosco. Fr. Santhosh Dsouza also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the vital role of catechism in imparting knowledge, shaping character, and fostering transformation.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where students who secured the highest marks and those with 100% attendance were honored for their dedication and commitment.
