The Christmas celebrations were held on the 24th and 25th Month of December 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady.
On 24th during Christmas Eve the Christmas carols were sung by choir members half ‘n’ hour before the start of Holy Mass. The Christmas solemnity mass was celebrated by Fr Antony Pais S.J, Director of Loyola Pre-novitiate & Vocation.
During the Holy Mass priest preached to gather devotees that the language of God is Language of Love and to Communicate this Love, God took the human form and was born in manger. He identified himself with the poverty of human world.
To add the joy, ICYM Vorkady Unit organised Start competition to Vorkadians and 7 wards were participated with the elements of creativity, clean & neat, plastic free, finishing & presence.
After the mass, mutual greetings, Kuswar sharing and housed housie were held.
