Easter vigil liturgy was celebrated on 30th evening at Vorkady Sacred Heart Church. The Liturgy began at 7pm by blessing of the fire by Fr Basil vas,the parish priest. Rev Fr Kenneth Crasta, the asst director of St Joseph's Engineering College was the main celebrant. He preached that the Easter is a feast of hope and that we are and have to live as Easter people with an experience of the resurrection of Jesus and witnessing of the same resurrected Jesus like St Paul.

At the end of the vigil mass people shared the Easter joy with a cup of badam milk and a piece of cake. The parish priest thanke all for the success of every days liturgy with able able shouldering of the responsibilities by the vice president, secretary, convent sisters,the various commissions, gurkars and members of the parish pastoral council.
