New Year of Catechism was inaugurated on June 2nd at Sacred Heart Church Vorkady by Representatives of children, parents, Catechism teachers and by the parish priest Fr Basil Vas. Rev Fr Santhosh DSouza was the main Celebrant for the mass at 8 am. Fr Basil Vas preached the sermon. Mr Rajesh DSouza, the animator made all the arrangements. Ursuline sisters under the leadership of Sr Monthi and Shanthi along with Catechism teachers took active part both in the inaugural program and mass that followed. Children loudly uttered the slogan of the year Lord teach us to pray.
